Choosing a venue is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make while planning your wedding. It sets the tone for the entire day. As a destination wedding photographer, I have gotten to photograph at so many venues and could give endless suggestions. But today I wanna talk about one in particular: River Bottom Ranch. If you’re dreaming of those breathtaking mountain views: deserves a spot at the top of your list.
Literally the second you drive up, you’ll understand why couples fall in love with it. Here’s their website if you want to check it out directly! But I also want to share this gorgeous wedding that I photographed there recently so you can see the venue in action!

It feels like a destination wedding without ever leaving Utah. We’re talking snow covered peaks in the distance. Horses neighing nearby. Rolling greenery everywhere. It’s so freakin’ gorgeous.
Think about how amazing this looks for portraits, family photos, and all those quiet moments together throughout the day. There is just no shortage of stunning locations just steps away.
The bright white barn features those stunning soaring ceilings, oversized windows, warm wood floors, and timeless architectural details. These photograph like a dream!
Outside, the ceremony space overlooks the pond with panoramic mountain views behind it.
Kirsten and Adam’s wedding used colorful floral arrangements to compliment the environment, while allowing the landscape to remain the main attraction. It is one of those locations that feels naturally beautiful without needing much decoration.

Some of my favorites include:

Afternoon ceremonies are filled with bright mountain views. Evening portraits become soft and romantic as golden light settles over the pond. Even after sunset, the place still feels alive and secluded.
It’s a location that photographs beautifully from every angle, making it an absolutely unforgettable place to celebrate your wedding day.
