There is something so, so special about slowinggg down before your wedding day and creating space for a quiet, meaningful first look. Especially when it’s in the mountains. (Especially at Jordan Pines in Utah!!)
The soft evening light, the towering pines, and the mountain views created the dreamiest backdrop for these two to breathe in the moment together.
Every trail, meadow, and wide-open view magnified the calm and romantic atmosphere that surrounded them all evening. As a destination wedding photographer, I live for views like this!

The clean lines and soft movement of the fabric fit the mountain setting so cohesively. Her bouquet featured creamy neutral blooms with layered textures. It looked right at home in the Spring wildflower fields!
Braeden kept things classic in a deep blue suit with a light tie and boutonniere that tied everything together perfectly. Together they looked like the perfect picture of a bride and groom, enjoying the mountain scenery together.

Everything was set ablaze by the glowy, goey golden hour lighting. The tall evergreens and layered mountain backdrop created so much depth and texture in the images. I was giddy while editing these!!
We met up after they first got engaged and had their engagement session in the Salt Lake City Foothills! These two have a knack for picking gorgeous places for their photos. I like to think of these images in frames in their home, lining the hallways and showing their story. Makes my photographer-heart happy!

The light just wrapped itself around Natalie and Braeden in the softest way. It was equal parts peaceful and deeply romantic.
If you’re considering doing a bridal + first look session, let this day be the sign you need to book one for yourself. I love meeting up with my couples and photographing you in beautiful places. In fact, I made a guide all about what a first look session is! You can view it here!
