Chelsea and Evan could not have designed a more perfect day at Log Haven. From the palpable excitement of their wedding party, to their pup being included in the ceremony, to the bubble exit at the end… this day was nothing short of a true celebration.
Nestled in the mountains and surrounded by towering trees, it was straight out of a romance novel. The sweeping landscapes… soft sound of water in the background… hidden waterfalls… I mean, need a say more? Every destination wedding photographer’s dream location.

Before the ceremony, Chelsea shared one of the sweetest moments of the day with her dad. He led her through the trees to meet Evan for their first look. She looked incredible in her fitted lace gown by Blue by Enzoani, which she found at The Bridal Studio Utah. Her soft, timeless hair and makeup by Morgan Fay and Maggie Langdon completed the look beautifully.
The second Evan saw her, he became emotional. It was such a sweet and genuine moment! I love the first looks at the weddings I photograph. There’s something so pure and emotional about them.
Afterward, we moved right into wedding party photos, and they were some of my favorites from the day. The bridesmaids wore silky mauve and deep wine dresses, while the groomsmen wore light gray suits. Everyone was cheering, laughing, and celebrating.

The ceremony took place outside beside the water with romantic mountain views all around. Rows of white chairs lined the lawn, and a wooden arbor stood at the front covered in colorful blooms by Bronte Floral. Shades of blush, peach, coral, berry, and cream popped against the green landscape. The color scheme perfectly matched the excited, celebratory energy of the day.
The whole ceremony was intimate and personal, infused with so much joy. Truly, these two did not stop smiling all. day.

After the ceremony, we wandered along the water for newlywed portraits while the guests got settled in cocktail hour. These were some of the most beautiful, quiet moments of the day. The “oh my god we’re MARRIED” glow was all over them. There’s something about that realization hitting that is so wonderful to capture.
We even stopped by a waterfall tucked into the trees. It was the perfect quiet moment before their evening of celebration with their loved ones.

The reception at Log Haven was packed with energy from the moment Chelsea and Evan arrived on the patio. The tables and decor by Evgenia Norman looked so elegant, and the elevated white cake from Granite Bakery was decorated with fresh flowers to match their florals for the day.
The newlyweds shared a special first dance together under the twinkling lights, cut their cake and got to share a meal with their friends and family.
This wow did this party know. how. to. dance! The celebration was off the hook. Chelsea and Evan have the most fun group of friends, and they danced the night away. From huge cheers to nonstop laughter, everyone fully celebrated this momentous occasion together.

To end the night, the guests gathered outside to prepare for the bubble exit. Chelsea and Evan stole one more quiet dance alone under the lights, on the now quiet dance floor.
And then they were off to say goodbye to their people! Bubbles floated everywhere as guests cheered and laughed. Everyone seemed giddy and happy, like kids again.
