Are you dreaming about eloping in Moab?! If so, this is the inspiration that you need. Bri and Levi spent nearly two years planning their intimate wedding at Whispering Oaks Ranch, and every part of the day was so emotional and intentional. Even when we had to pivot because the wind made a (big) appearance, they were laid-back and just ready to say “I Do”.
From the iconic red rock landscapes to dramatic mountain views, their celebration perfectly infused the beauty of Moab into their day.
They began the day getting ready with family before at Whispering Oaks Ranch (such a good venue! Definitely check it out here!) Bri looked stunning in her lace Maggie Sottero gown, complete with a flowing train that caught every mountain breeze. Her hair and makeup was done by the amazing, Genica Lee. Levi wore a classic navy blue suit with a floral tie that tied beautifully into the colorful palette of the day.
Their vibrant bouquet, designed by Hailley Arps, featured rich oranges, coral, burgundy, and soft pink blooms that gave that perfect pop against the desert landscape.
Although the original ceremony location had to change from outdoors to the porch, the day never lost its magic.
Strong winds, with gusts reaching nearly 42 MPH (!!!), swept through the La Sal Mountains. Instead of holding the ceremony in the planned outdoor location, everyone gathered on the covered porch at Whispering Oaks Ranch, where the mountains still created an incredible backdrop while offering protection from the wind.
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Bri and Levi exchanged vows in an intimate setting that was so peaceful and calm. It’s exactly the vibe they were dreaming about.

The fun thing about Bri and Levi’s day was that they didn’t confine themselves to one location. These two created an unforgettable adventure through some of Utah’s most iconic landscapes. As a destination wedding photographer who often photographs here, this was a dream day for me!
We started off under the iconic arches of Moab, wandering our way up paths and through the rocks. The newlyweds got some time to themselves to really take in the moment. They were finally husband and wife, and being able to really absorb that in such a gorgeous setting was such a magical moment.
Here’s another micro wedding there! And a bridal session! If you want more inspo from this incredible location.
We stayed here until the sun set. Getting all the glowy, vibey newlywed portraits. Because we didn’t have a timeline to rush back to, we were able to take our time and get creative with their images before heading back to their dinner reception with friends.

They cut their beautiful cake, made by Sweet Serendipity, and popped champagne, had a cigar and danced the evening away together. Days like this are exactly why I love photographing destination weddings. No matter what the weather decides to do, the focus always comes back to the people, the experience, and the memories being created together.
If you’re dreaming of an intimate celebration surrounded by incredible scenery, I’d love to meet up with you in Moab. Click here to inquire!
