It’s no secret that I love intimate celebrations as a Destination wedding photographer. But there is something SO magical about a Moab micro wedding.

Amy and Mitchell chose this spot for their big day, and it could not have been more perfect. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they stood on the edge of those iconic canyon views and started a new chapter of their life side by side.
Basically, it was a photographer’s dream scenario.

Their ceremony was simple, but incredibly meaningful. Guests gathered nearby, just taking in the awe of the moment. You could feel the emotion in every glance and every smile of those celebrating Amy & Mitchell.

The long train flowed across the red rock, adding texture to the images. She carried a bouquet filled with soft neutrals and greenery. The color palette perfectly complimented the scenery. I love it when my couples think about the big picture like that.
Mitchell kept things classic in a dark suit with a crisp white shirt. His outfit provided a visual anchor point to the image that really cemented them as the focal point in each frame.

You are not tied to a strict timeline. You get space to breathe, to wander, and to soak it all in. Which is exactly what you want to do in a place this surreal & gorgeous.
They laughed together, held each other close, and took in the vast landscape around them.

It wrapped around them in the most beautiful way. We captured quiet portraits on the edge of the canyon, with layers of red rock stretching out behind them.
These are the images that are so timeless.

Your story deserves a setting that feels just as meaningful as the day itself.
Amy and Mitchell, your day was such a joy to be part of.
I hope these images always take you back to the feeling of standing on that cliff, hand in hand, at the start of your next chapter.
