Some places seem made for love stories, and Tibble Fork is 100% one of them! It has emerald water! Towering pine trees! And snow-capped mountain peaks in every direction. When I first started chatting with Lizzie and Sam about their engagement session, we quickly decided it was THE perfect setting.
It’s no surprise this beautiful session was later featured on Utah Valley Bride. These two perfectly encapsulated a fun, joyful engagement session in Utah.

One of my favorite things about this location is how many different landscapes it offers within a short distance. We started among the tall pines where the afternoon light filtered through the trees. The warm sunshine created a glow as Lizzie and Sam laughed, hugged, and wandered the trails together.
From there, we made our way to the lake. The still turquoise water reflected the surrounding mountains, creating one of the most iconic views in Utah.
To finish the session, they changed into a second outfit that perfectly complemented the mountain scenery. Lizzie wore a flowing floral wrap dress with warm earthy tones, while Sam paired a elevated classic pieces and a wide-brim hat. I’m obsessed with how the their looks came out!

It offers an incredible amount of variety without requiring you to drive from location to location. It’s especially beautiful in the hour before sunset (golden hour), when the light filters through the trees and the mountain peaks begin to glow.
Most of the areas I photograph are just a short walk from the parking areas, so you won’t need to commit to a long hike to get beautiful images. That said, there are uneven dirt paths, rocks, and a few gentle inclines along the way. I always recommend wearing comfortable shoes while we walk between locations and bringing your photo shoes to change into once we arrive. If you’re planning multiple outfits, we’ll keep the transitions simple so we can spend more time enjoying the scenery and less time feeling rushed.
Because this is such a popular destination, especially during the summer and fall, weekday evenings are usually the best choice for a quieter experience. With a little planning and the right timing, you’ll have access to some of the most stunning mountain scenery Utah has to offer! And you won’t have to be serious hikers to access it!

They were completely present with one another from beginning to end. Whether they were laughing while walking through the forest, sharing a quiet embrace by the water, or dancing beneath the mountains, every moment was so genuinely them.
There is a reason this gallery was featured on Utah Valley Bride. Between the breathtaking scenery at Tibble Fork, intentionally designed outfit choices, and the undeniable love between Lizzie and Sam, every piece came together beautifully.
