When you get to photograph not just one, but FOUR weddings from the same friend group, it starts to feel like you’re part of the family. That’s exactly how this Snowbasin wedding felt: full of familiar faces, inside jokes, and so much joy. It really is the highlight of my career to photograph whole friend groups as they walk through this season of life. (Wanna peek at another wedding from these sweet friends? Peek at Rachel and Matt’s Day here!)
From the start, this wedding was a perfect mix of classic and heartfelt. Parisa + Matthew started off with a Welcome Dinner in Huntsville at the charming town square and Compass Rose Lodge. Guests mingled under string lights, sharing stories and laughter before the big day. The live music and heartfelt toasts set the tone for the rest of the celebrations.

The morning began quietly as the bride and groom got ready with their besties! Sharing drinks and enjoying the moment, while everyone got ready!
Afterward, the bride and groom shared their first look tucked away among the trees, with mountain light spilling softly through the branches. Parisa wore a timeless strapless gown and a delicate veil that looked SO good in the soft breeze. Photo goals! Matthew looked sharp in a light gray suit with a mustard tie; a subtle nod to the warm tones woven throughout their day.

This venue was the dream backdrop for their ceremony. The sweeping mountain views made everything feel cinematic. And the soft, golden light as they exchanged vows was unreal. Their traditional Persian ceremony was one of the most meaningful parts of the day. Surrounded by loved ones, they sat before the beautiful sofreh aghd: a table filled with symbolic items representing love, joy, and sweetness in marriage.
Friends and family held a delicate lace cloth over them, sprinkling sugar to bless their union. It was such an honor to capture something so rich in tradition and emotion.

Afterward these two were OFFICIALLY MARRIED (!!), we snuck away for a few portraits at the edge of the property. Here the valley stretched out behind them and the air felt calm and still. Those quiet moments together, just the two of them taking it all in… were pure magic. I’ll never get tired of that we-just-got-married glow.

Back at Snowbasin’s lodge, the reception space glowed with chandeliers. There were long tables dressed in white linen, and stunning florals by Posy Place.
Dinner was catered by the venue’s team, and the couple cut into a classic tiered cake made right at the venue too. Later, the dance floor came alive under the warm glow of the chandeliers. The perfect ending to a perfect mountain wedding.
Every part of this day felt intentional and full of heart. I’ll never stop feeling grateful to capture stories like this. Especially at a place as stunning as Snowbasin. Sign me up any day, any time. I’ll be there!
