Give me a couple down to run around in the snow and brave the freezing Utah mountains in winter, and I’m a happy photographer! Laura + Kevin were just that couple, and we had a blast running around the pine trees and waist-deep snow up Little Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake City.
I’m all about engagement photos that truly reflect who you are as a couple, and Laura + Kevin definitely understood the assignment and picked a spot for their chilly engagement photos right outside of Alta Ski Resort, a place where they had spent a lot of time together skiing down the slopes. Despite my car’s thermometer telling me it was 9º Fahrenheit outside, these two ran around like it was 90º and we had too much fun throwing snow at each other and soaking in the unreal pink-and-orange light that hit the glacier-formed sides of Little Cottonwood Canyon for sunset.
