A Dodgers Baseball Game Wedding Day is prettyyyyy hard to beat, especially when the couple is as passionate about baseball as Sarah and Chris. These two decided to make their wedding day completely their own. They celebrated with a beautiful brunch wedding at La Canada Thursday Club, (which is a GORGEOUS California wedding venue, btw!) then traded their wedding attire for custom Dodgers jerseys and headed to the ballpark with their favorite people.
And yes, their golden retriever, Dodger, was the ring bearer. I mean… does it get any more perfect!?

Their Garden Wedding at La Canada Thursday Club
The morning began at a romantic, tucked-away California venue surrounded by sweeping trees, lush gardens, colorful flowers, and classic Spanish-inspired architecture. Every where I looked there was something to take a picture of, so obviously I was in heaven.
Sarah looked beautiful in a classic bridal gown with a delicate lace bodice and a flowing skirt. Her veil added that perfect romantic touch. Chris wore a traditional black tuxedo with a light tie and a soft, colorful boutonniere that tied beautifully into the garden setting.
The couple had plenty of room to explore the property for portraits. They opted for a first look, so we had plenty of time in the morning light to explore the property. The winding garden paths, brick details, arched doorways, and enormous trees gave their portraits a that vibey, relaxed California feel.
Sarah and Chris got married on the beautiful courtyard at La Canada Thursday Club and said I do in front of their closest friends and family.
It was such a joyful, fun and happy ceremony! Afterward, they enjoyed a cocktail hour and dance floor with their people! The florals were stunning and all the decor was perfectly cohesive. Their wedding planner was Ben, from So Smitten, and they knocked it out of the park. The entire affair was so seamless and fun!

It was so much fun to eat cake, take pictures of the guests dancing and have a great time before heading off to the stadium for the rest of their Dodgers Baseball Game Wedding Day!
After their heartfelt ceremony and brunch celebration, the day shifted gears.
Sarah and Chris changed into matching Dodgers jerseys and made their way to the stadium with their loved ones.
The portraits at the game are some of my favorites. There is something so fun about seeing a newly married couple completely in their element. They laughed together, walked through the stadium hand in hand, and settled into their private box they had rented for the day to enjoy the game with family and friends. They had custom cookies, drinks flowing and the sports vibes were high.
This Was a Wedding That Felt Like Them
Sarah and Chris did not try to fit their wedding into a traditional formula. They built a day around the things they love. A beautiful California garden. Their closest people. Their dog. Baseball. And a whole lot of joy. I took this day as proof that you can cherry pick the elements of weddings that you love, and recreate the ones you don’t into something far more personal.
That is what makes this entire Dodgers Baseball Game wedding so memorable.
It was not just a wedding followed by a baseball game. It was a celebration that felt unmistakably, wonderfully Sarah & Chris.
