If there ever was a time to have Scratch’n Sniff photos, it would be for this sunrise Lavender Field Engagement Session in Utah. The way the sun was glowing on the rows of lavender while Nahomi and Logan were being the cutest with each other, made for an UNREAL engagement session. Waking up before the crack of dawn was beyond worth it to spend it with this gorgeous couple!
Why sunrise? It’s my favorite time of day for an engagement session at the lavender fields! The farm is tucked below the mountains and as the sun rises behind them it creates a warm, sunny glow on the field below. If you’ve been following me long enough, you know photo sessions with warm sunlight in a field of flowers is my jam!
For Nahomi and Logan’s lavender session we met at the Young Living Lavender Farm in Mona, Utah. It’s about an hour drive south of Salt Lake City to get to the farm.
How to Book a Photo Session at the Young Living Lavender Farm:
The farm only allows photo sessions for a limited time during the year, so you have to look ahead and book a spot. They release dates from late June to early July to book early morning or late afternoon session spots, and they sell out quick! Check their Facebook Page for the latest updates!
When is the best time of year for lavender engagement photos?
Lavender blooms the first two weeks of July, so late summer dates are prime! However, the lavender fields are gorgeous year round! For example, these engagements and springtime bridals at the lavender fields!
I’m so thankful Nahomi and Logan were game for sunrise engagements in the lavender fields! Whenever I smell lavender it always takes me back to this session!
