Roadtripping around Iceland with the Straders will easily be one of my top favorite experiences, ever. The scenery is completely out of this world and larger than life in every way, and the wild beauty of the entire place will captivate me until the end of time. I’m convinced that Iceland is the perfect backdrop for couple’s wanting something a little wild, a little unique, and a whole lot of beautiful for their wedding day, as perfectly portrayed by this elopement inspiration! Taking place at the soaking mists and thunder of the Skógafoss Waterfall, and then onto the craggy cliffs and jet-black sand beaches of Vík (I jokingly have named those cliffsides the Lego rocks or french fry rocks!), we froze together while capturing their love (luckily I had my favorite yellow sweater to throw on Eden so she’d be less cold!).
This moody fire-and-ice land will forever have my heart and soul. I already can’t wait to return and photograph another couple’s love in this amazing place!
