Jessica and Chris are the ultimate adventurers, but didn’t need to go far for the most stunning location for their intimate wedding! Their own backyard, nestled up in the mountains of Park City, Utah provided the most gorgeous view we could have asked for and was doubly special with it being their own yard and brand-new home that Chris, an amazing architect, designed himself.
They were married right before sunset with their closest friends and family before them and the Utah mountains behind them (and can we also talk about their amazing geometric mountain-shaped alter??) and with their perfect Goldendoodle pup, Moose, at their feet and looking hella dapper in a bow tie.
After the I-do’s were said we strolled further into their backyard and into the most golden golden hour I’ve ever seen! They seriously looked straight out of a fairytale strolling around the golden fields (with Jess rocking my favorite designer BHLDN for her wedding dress!). That fairytale was multiplied when out of nowhere with barely a cloud in the sky, it suddenly started to rain on us which made everything look like it had been doused in sparkles. The rain finished with a double rainbow and we all shared an incredibly special moment as Jessica and Chris were sure that the random rain and rainbow had to have come from Jessica’s late father, who had passed earlier that year. Truly one of the most special and magical moments I’ve ever seen at a wedding.
They finished their day with a casual dinner and drinks with their family and friends in their new home, making it the perfect relaxed and intimate mountain wedding! Scroll on to see the magic!
