If you’ve ever wanted to wander through wildflowers with mountain views in every direction, you don’t want to skip this session at Albion Basin. Morgan and Parker’s couple’s photos were the definition of dreamy. The wildflowers were in full bloom, with so many vibrant colors! The mountain backdrop was surreal, and everything felt peaceful in that perfectly Utah way.
They showed up in the relaxed, effortless outfits for their session. Think: ripped jeans, neutral tees, and simple sandals. It fit the setting so well. No fuss or overthinking, but still looking put-together and polished. Just two people who clearly love being together, exploring one of the most beautiful spots in the state.
Important note: Photoshop was used to remove the ropes and include flowers in these images. When visiting, please stay on the designated paths to help preserve this gorgeous area for everyone.
This spot feels unreal when you’re standing in it. The wildflowers at this location stretch across the hills. There are bursts of yellow, purple, and white as far as you can see. The mountains rise behind you, wrapping the whole scene in this calm, cinematic glow.
We spent the evening running along the trails, laughing, and just letting things unfold naturally. Morgan’s long hair caught the wind perfectly, it was like a cinematic moment all for them. Parker made her laugh nonstop. My favorite photos are always the ones that feel like the two of you being yourselves. A quiet kiss, a piggyback ride, or that look you give each other when you think no one’s watching. Yes, I will give you prompts, but once you start relaxing into the session, your natural dynamic comes out as a couple, and it’s so much fun to photograph.
If you’re dreaming about taking photos here, plan your trip between mid-July and early August. That’s when the wildflowers are at their peak and the light feels extra golden. Bring layers, because the temperature drops quickly once the sun dips behind the mountains.
The key to a great session here is keeping it simple. Wear something you can move in, (skip the heels!), and let the setting do the work. Albion Basin doesn’t need much. It’s already doing the heavy lifting with those views.
Sessions like this are my favorite because they remind me that connection matters more than perfection. The best moments are usually the unplanned ones. When you’re running down the trail or laughing mid-kiss. If you’re ready to capture your love story surrounded by wildflowers and peaks, Albion Basin is the place to do it. And I’d be honored to be your destination photographer. Wherever you end up anywhere in the world, my camera and I are happy to tag along! Reach out here to get in touch!
