Megan and Brittan’s Wine Country Wedding in Sonoma, California was an absolute DREAM. They were wed on Megan’s grandfathers property where she spent much of her childhood in the vineyards and mountains of Sonoma County. These two are some of the most infectious, beautiful people I know and being a part of their day was SUCH an honor!
Wine Country Wedding in Sonoma California
I first met Megan and Brittan when we did their engagement photos in San Francisco at some of their favorite Bay Area spots. You can see their engagement blog post here. When these two are together it’s like they’re in their own little world, so I knew being a part of their wedding day would be a freaking blast. It was!
During Megan & Brittan’s first look, Brittan gifted Megan adoption papers for a puppy! As someone who is dog obsessed, it was one of the most exciting and thoughtful wedding gifts I’ve seen. You can see the surprise and thrill on Megan’s face as she looks through the papers. Seriously, Megan has the most radiant smile and personality ever- a true Sonoma county princess. As you look through their blog post, I bet you won’t be able to resist smiling along with her!
Sonoma County California Wedding
Megan’s grandfather’s property was right across the street from the vineyard. The natural greenery and florals throughout the space made there no need for any extra decor. The beauty of the landscape was more than enough. Once the sun started to set, string and twinkle lights throughout the wedding space turned on and created a magical evening atmosphere for the guests.
Local wine was served throughout the wedding and a favorite pizza company catered dinner. After heartfelt toasts from their family, Megan and Brittan GOT DOWN on the dance floor with their family and friends. At one point during the reception, a bubble machine was brought out and everyone was dancing among bubbles. The photos of Meg dancing in the bubbles are some of my favorite! It was seriously one of the most fun wedding receptions!
When I say Megan and Brittan’s wedding was a dream to photograph, I mean it! I’ll never get over this magical pair amongst the October colors of the vineyards. Until next time, I’ll be counting down the days until I’m back in sunny California for another west coast wedding!
