It’s no secret that Dead Horse Point State Park in Moab, Utah, is one of my favorite places on earth. Additionally ,it’s one of the most popular locations I photograph sessions, weddings, and elopements at (see more at this stunning place here, here, and here!). The sweeping cliffs set high above red rock rising towers, the rainbow layers of the canyon walls, and the hawks swooping above the Colorado River far below creates the perfect storm of desert beauty that I’ll never be able to get over. It’s no surprise that Courtney and David selected this unreal Moab location for their pre-wedding bridals session!
Courtney and David had an LDS wedding here in Utah, and due to the privacy of the religious ceremony, it is customary for LDS couples to take bridals and have their first look in their regular wedding attire before the wedding date. Courtney and David selected the beautiful Provo City Center LDS Temple for their ceremony venue, which we stopped at for a few shots before getting back on the road for Moab!
After stopping by their LDS temple venue, we continued south to Moab and the cliffs of Dead Horse Point State Park for the remainder of the session!
Courtney’s soft + feminine dress is from the wonderful The Perfect Dress, here in Salt Lake City. In love with the flutter sleeves!
