Happy first day of fall! I can’t believe it’s autumn already, I feel like the summer absolutely flew by! Even though I love fall, I’m already missing all the daylight hours and warmth of summer, seeing as the weather decided to welcome us to fall with a plummet in temperature, meaning I’m definitely bundled up in a few sweaters today. The leaves are just barely starting to change colors up in the mountain canyons, but I have something even more orange-toned to celebrate the change in seasons- this incredible anniversary session up in Red Canyon! Shelby and Cody contacted me a few months back to do a session for their anniversary with them in one of their favorite places: Red Canyon, on the outskirts of Bryce National Park! I’m a national park junkie so naturally I jumped at the chance to adventure with these two in such an incredible place! Red Canyon did not disappoint; the fluffy fir trees on the canyon floor up to the amazing red rock hoodoo spires of the canyon walls were absolutely breathtaking. We started out on the canyon floor and then scrambled up the ledges to catch the last of the sunset on the top of the canyon, which was probably one of my favorite experiences ever, even though my health decided to crash out on me and I spent a few minutes lying on my back with my feet up hahaha. Cody and Shelby are every photographer’s dream: besides being total hotties, they were crazy fun, beyond in love, and down for anything! I had such a blast with them and left feeling like I had made two new best friends! Enjoy! xx
